The winery is located on the hillsides to the east of Assisi, a land rich in peace and saints, but also renowned for its centuries-old vocation for wine-making and olive oil production.
Extra virgin olive oil is the pure juice of fresh olives, hand picked when ripe from the sunny gravel hillside above Assisi between the end of September and the beginning of October.
You will experience the sensory analysis of organic extra virgin olive oils, land gain an understanding of what goes in to producing an organic extra virgin olive oil of such high quality.
The experience also includes an olive cultivation lesson. The tasting of the oil will be accompained by 3 Assisi DOC wines and some typical Umbria products, like warm bruschetta, a selection of salamis from Norcia, Umbrian cheeses, and local sweet treats.
