The vineyards of the Prosecco region, just an hour’s drive from Venice, spread out in front of you as you travel along country roads. On this full-day tour, the first winery you’ll visit is a family business, located near Conegliano. Tour the cellars, and see the wine press and fermentation room before enjoy a number of glasses of Prosecco. Later in the morning, stop at a waterfall beside an old mill in Refrontolo. As you continue your drive, enjoy the beauty of the hills covered in Prosecco grapes. There will be a number of stops before lunch so you can get out and take a walk through the vineyards. Lunch will be at a traditional trattoria, overlooking vineyards, where you’ll have a choice of dishes from the Veneto region. Not far from the town of Valdobbiadene you’ll stop to visit the second winery of the tour, where an expert will explain the steps of the wine-making process, from picking the grapes to bottling.
