This dining experience incorporates five traditional and street foods served in different eateries. You will be starting with an entree, and ending with a typical Italian dessert or a delicious ice-cream. You will taste some of the following dishes on the tour: Sgabei - a small fried pancake made from bread dough. Mesciua - chickpea, beans and wheat grains soup, typical of La Spezia. Testaroli or panigacci - a sort of pancake, boiled and enriched with pesto, oil, parmesan cheese, and mushroom sauce (testaroli), alternatively baked, served with cheese and cured meat (panigacci). Pasta with walnut sauce - typical from Liguria. Fried Calamari and Anchovies - freshly fished locally and cooked directly by local fishermen. Farinata - a delicious chickpea pancake cooked in a wood oven. The best one is soft in the center with a lighty crisp coating. Ice cream or dessert.
