Cozy feel in the Center—cobblestones, porticos, Mercato Albinelli, Enzo Ferrari Museum, incredible food, particularly Uva d’Oro restaurant (went to dinner there twice as it was so enjoyable) and Sant’Agostino three times for late afternoon aperitivi.

This was a really lovely city with an extensive pedestrian town centre. The Duomo is a highlight, the covered market is charming (it re-opens in the evening with a variety of what seem like pop-up restaurants) and the very grand town hall was worth a visit. You are spoilt for choice for restaurants - we liked Stallo Pomodoro and Da Danilo for dinner- both had outside terraces, and for lunch, Aldina, a very traditional no frills trattoria on the first floor near the market. Blums, a prize-winning gelateria, served the best ice cream I had on this trip.

Really a treat, Modena deserves to be better known.
Really a treat, Modena deserves to be better known. A beautiful and walkable city, with magnificent food, good and variegated shops, and did I mention the magnificent food? The Galleria Estense is an excellent museum (with all information in Italian and English). Opening hours for churches are a bit intransparent (and not always kept), but the city is definitely worth a trip!

A beautiful town not overrun by tourists or tourism, with good restaurants, lovely sites, and extremely well kept buildings. It is easily walkable (no tourist cars in the center). If there was something to avoid, I could not find it.
Very Superb apartment with complete package for families vacation, Spacious room and very clean. Good Wi-Fi connection and with you tube / Netflix provided. Suitable for families with car (under ground parking provided) coz distance to down town requires some mode of transportations. Heating was also superb adding with multiple air conditioning feels like home. The host also provide sufficient toiletries and basic snack much appreciated. Definitely one of the best apartment that our family enjoy in Italy.
Although it may give the impression from outside that it is old and rusty, it is exactly the opposite from the inside. The furniture is really good, its clean, and quiet. I did not expect to be prepared like a hotel room but it was, for example: there were towels, hand soap, washing dishes soap, kitchen utensils, Nespresso machine, full functional refrigerator with freezer. Its like having your small home with you on holidays.
The host was waiting for us when we arrived. He kindly explained to us what we needed to know to make our stay as comfortable as possible, including tips about where to park the car, where to eat, what to visit... The apartment simply had everything we needed and more, very well maintained, clean, spacious, and located in the center of Modena. Possibly the best apartment I've ever been to in Italy.
This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels! The facilities were all fine but what made it exceptional was how helpful and friendly the staff were - everyone was pitch perfect. The hotel was clean, relaxed, friendly and informal. It’s in an ideal location for Modena, food tours and Bologna airport. I hope to return.
Excellent location for accessing Modena by car. All the staff, without exception, were helpful and very welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and served with a warm smile.
The outdoor pool and grounds were perfect to relax and chill.
Superb restaurant just immediately across from the hotel.
Hotel has free parking in front of the building which was very helpful, breakfast was also very good with a lot of choices and variety, hotel is close to the center of Modena so can easily walk for some food or order for in the hotel.
Beautiful, spacious, clean property centrally located is a great place to stay in Modena. Bonus there is an Acetaia in the same building that offers tours and tastings. The property owner is exceptionally gracious and helpful.
I was so angry I didn’t enjoy the stay at all. this is my vacation in Italy and she ruined
the night. I am requesting A refund of 50% because of the inconvenience of going back and forth
to the apartment until she showed up.
Great location in the heart of Modena- everything was within 10 minutes’ walk. They also included free parking and allowed us to drop our bags, even though the hotel is within the ZTL. Good quality air conditioning.
The area is a picturesque part of Italy. The villa where I stayed was nice, situated in a courtyard at the edge of the road, approximately 12 km from the city center of Modena. The host was friendly and hospitable.
By far my favorite place we stayed and visited...I hope to return next time I'm in Italy. The people and area were just amazing! We visited so many towns and Modena was my favorite!!! Massimo was the best!!
Perfect location and very polite, helpful and friendly staff. We arrived by car and while the hotel’s private parking was full, we were immediately provided an authorization to park at the street nearby.
The hotel is less than a 5 minute drive into Modena's city centre and free parking is also provided. It is a slightly old hotel that looks like it was recently refurbished.
Everything in the hotel was in top condition. Also, there was coffee and other things for a quick snack in the evening. Owners were very friendly. Parking slot was big.
It’s a beautiful hotel near Modena with private parking and really good breakfast, stuff we’re very polite and room was clean and comfortable. Every recommendation!
