Hotel La Residenza

LikedThe concierge / reception Vincent was an absolute treasure. He sorted us out with taxis and we were able to check into the room early. He recommended an alternate gallery when the Villa Borgese was full that was a very good alternative. He made our stay effortless. The other staff were all polite and helpful. Breakfast was a good selection. The room was spacious and very clean. the hotel is very well situated inside the old city walls.

DislikedIt is really difficult to find fault with this property. Some of the kitchen staff smoking close to the entrance might be better served elsewhere.

LikedProperty was lovely a bit dated but very clean ….room was lovely and very spacious… Vincent who work on the front desk was incredibly helpful could not have done enough to make sure our stay was comfortable His Expertise on guiding us around Rome was 10 out 10

DislikedIt would have been nice if there was tea and coffee provided in the rooms ….

Liked24h reception, spacious room with huge & comfy bed. Lady at the reception wasn’t overly hostile, however provided us with everything we needed. Staff at breakfast was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good and had all the typical various breakfast foods.

DislikedRather thin walls (but we experienced this all over Rome), very noisy fridge at the wall that would start humming every 30 mins or so. 255€ for 1 night (brekkie included) was too much. I’ts a nice, clean hotel, but no modern (but timeless ) furniture and nothing special other than being located in Rome. Would come back though

LikedThe staffs were very helpful to call taxi and take care of luggages for us. The location is convenient to go to the central area and the train station.

LikedVery nice hotel, old fashion reception, very professional, organized. Very good breakfast, rooms are big, bed very comfortable. Very well located. I recommend.

DislikedLike everywhere in Italy, not soundproof but neighborhood is very quiet.
