The Major Hotel

LikedPerfect location near the train station, easy to reach the historic monuments by walk. The rooms were great and spacious. Very clean rooms and breakfast area. The rooftop is great as well!

DislikedThere was just a strange smell in the floors (canalizations, wet, carpets...?)and the coffee for the breakfast could be improved, specially when yo are in Italy, not served from this kind of machine!

LikedRoom cleaning is good. Location is good.

DislikedBreakfast is bad, all 4 days are same, Choies little. Room clean daily but no replaced new bottle of water & coffee Capsule. And also, no Kettle provided in the room. All you need to pay.

DislikedHotel staff was rather cold and uninterested. Bathroom was strange, not possible to take shower without getting everything wet. Bathroom door coud not be closed (broken doorknob).

DislikedRoom was near staff access so had noise issues at random times of the night. Staff offered to move us to another room but we decided to stay where we were. Night noise did reduce but definitely wasn’t the quietest room we have ever stayed in!
