LikedFantastic location for walking to the Coliseum and ancient district. A nice area.

DislikedFood was a bit mixed and expensive, but the rooftop bar was great.

LikedIdeal location if you want to explore the city as walking distance for the Colosseum & the restaurants & bars. Not too far from the airport & other attractions like the Vatican, Pantheon etc. There’s a roof top bar which was closed most days due to weather but can imagine being nice on a summer evening. Staff are friendly & attentive.

DislikedFirstly this is advertised incorrectly on booking.com as hotel with “spa”. This isn’t in fact true which we were misled on & were told that they have a steam room & can get a masseuse to come to the room! The air con doesn’t kick until the summer so only heating as an option & even with the temperature set to low, the room got very warm. Keeping the windows open isn’t ideal as there’s constant noise of ambulances & police cars driving by. We ended up getting a fan but it was really dusty & the staff said he couldn’t open to clean it properly. We were told by housekeeping that they can’t clean rooms until we leave on the first day. This is fine but when we learnt that only the beds were made, towels hung back & the toilet & sink was wiped down. By the 3rd day I had request for the floors to be swept as could see layer of dust on the floor, side tables & all surfaces! It was worse under the bed as I went to pick up an earring I dropped! The breakfast is a bit disappointing with limited variety everyday particularly for vegetarians. We eat eggs but it was served in the same hot tray as the bacon & sausages which is a put off. Also the same scrambled egg everyday so can get a bit boring!

LikedThe breakfast was fine, juice excellent. The location was very good. Close to the sights we wanted to see and restaurants close by. Views from roof top terrace good.

DislikedThe wellness facilities could have been better and more accessible (direct lift access without having to go down stairs). The TV remote could have been more user friendly.

LikedThe staff, location and facilities were perfect. The room and hotel were very clean, not very luxury but well design. The rooftop area for drink and dinner were also extraordinary with magnificent view. The breakfast was perfectly rich.

DislikedPaintings on the walls were not romantic at all and more suitable for a rock music lover!
