For twenty years, I have chosen to stay in Treviso as a base whilst visiting this part of Italy. It is my favourite walled city, and the canals flowing through it add to its uniqueness. It's location, ease of transport to the other northern cities of Italy (including, of course, Venice) and atmosphere, bars, restaurants and shops make it THE place to stay.PaulUnited Kingdom - 6.0Scored 6.0

A small town , not much to do. 2-3 days is more then enough to visit downtown. There is a good connection between treviso central and Venice , the train takes only 30 minutes. The bad : more foreigners on the street then italian people , looked like there is a big fugitive camp.SteveNetherlands - 10Scored 10

Treviso is a delight to investigate and walk around. Lovely history in the area and a short distance to Venice. Treviso region boasts great culinary treats which means food choice and a wide range of restaurants, cafes and bars. Investigation into this gem will not disappoint!

We'd gone through Treviso multiple times but never actually...
We'd gone through Treviso multiple times but never actually explored it and thought it would be a good idea to make a one-night stop there on our way home from our main destination. Ultimately, we liked it much more than our main destination and, in some ways, it's more enjoyable than Venice. Definitely recommend!

One evening spent in this lovely town. I wanted to come here for 4-7 days anyway, but this evening confirmed that I should. The town felt cozy despite being cold in mid-November. Many good restaurants and interesting stores. It one of those perfect weekend trip destinations, but I will surely explore the region the next time I'm there.Andrey

The staff was extremely nice, specially in comparison with stressed Venetians. We were visiting Venice and took a short 35min train, to then found the hotel on train station's doorstep. We went for dinner on the city. The city center is also lovely to walk in after the very crowded streets of Venice. Treviso is really charming. Next day we took a short 10min drive to the Airport. I can only recommend!!

Situated in the Old Town center, and 15 min walk from the train station, it gives you big choice of restaurants, cafes and shops. The room was fantastic, new, fully equipped, the hosts met us no matter we arrive one hour earlier than expected and check in. Clean room and bathroom. I booked private room that was big,very clean like a surgery area, with all facilities. Indeed the way to airport is less than 10 min walk...i used different way than hotel suggested one...but was very early ibthe morning with no cars on motorway. There's also one garden area that should be very nice during spring or summer.
