Parma is charming and easy to navigate on foot. It’s a really pretty town with lots to see and do. The food is excellent and the people are lovely. La Forchetta was our favorite dinner and Cocchi and La Greppia our favorite lunches.

The historic centre was readily accessible and lots of restaurants and bars. The apartment was basically ok but cramped (remove bidet and some furniture). Kitchenware, crockery, glassware, was inadequate for 2 people.

Parma is a charming city which is not too big and one can therefore explore most of it on foot. It has historic buildings and fine museums. There are also nice parks and a river. It is a good base to visit its surroundings.

Parma is one of the less touristy Italian destinations.
Parma is one of the less touristy Italian destinations. It has a beautiful medieval historic centre, cathedral, baptistry and piazza, all in an area prohibited to traffic and with very few crowds. Make sure to visit the Pilotta Palace, which houses the National Gallery of Parma. In the gallery you will find the small but exquisite 'La Scapigliata', 'The Lady with Dishevelled Hair', an unfinished oil painting attributed to Leonard da Vinci and sharing the same mysterious beauty as the Mona Lisa. Be sure to sample the local dishes at one of the many restaurants. We had a lovely dinner at Ristorante Gallo d'Oro.
Podere Merlo is wonderful! It is perfect if you are travelling with car. House itself is cozy and has real Italian feeling, it is historical and very well restaurated and has big garden around it. Hosts are very friendly and also suggested us many great things to do. Rooms are big, breakfast served outside is probably one of the best I ever had. Loved everything about this place and I am suggesting it to eveyone who wants to feel real Italy.
Very well located little hotel in the middle of Parma - everything is walking distance from there. They have their own parking that you can book for 20€/day (it's a bit tricky to get there but they have a sheet with instructions they send to their guests via the Booking.com messaging).
The crew were super helpful during check-in, check-out, and when we had some issue with our car and needed to clean the trunk.
The host, Francesca, met us upon arrival with the keys. She was great to communicate with prior to and during our stay. The apartment is beautiful and extremely comfortable. The location is fantastic for exploring Parma, with shops and restaurants all within easy walking distance. We love Parma, and this was our second time visiting, and we definitely will book here when we return again.
This hotel was super clean and the bed was comfortable and the balcony perfect for us as we somke, the staff where so helpful and the girls of the breakfast side where so kind and sweet with us and even the reception staff where helpful. Will recommend this hotel for sure and it's just 10min by car away from central of Parma ❤️
And value for money
Large appartments, very comfortable and large bed, wooden floor in the sleeping room - no cold tiles ( we were in October), all needed kitchen equipment. Awesome bathroom - big enough, with very new equipment. Very close to the historic center and all necessary shops. We travelled in Italy and stayed in 3 cities - this was our best experience.
great hosts, very responsive and communicative. very helpful in obtaining a taxi when we left. loved the location, easily walkable through the Centre of Parma. beautiful apartment, spacious, clean, comfortable. the sofa bed was very comfortable! easy entry, little stairs. highly recommend! would definitely return.
On a short trip to Parma we located this bed and breakfast minutes from the center. A hotel that made me feel like Italians used to live. Surrounded by a beautiful garden and best of all is the wonderful attention of Mrs. Luisa. Thank you for pampering us and making our stay as pleasant as possible. We wil come back
Excellent location in the centre of Parma. 10 min walk from Goito parking garage (shorter if you don't have luggage and a dog). Hotel staff was lovely! The breakfast was exceptional, the breakfast room has a huge scenic window onto a quiet side alley, we could have spent hours sitting there enjoying breakfast.
Massimo is a wonderful host! Come just to meet him :). The place is the perfect location for all things in Parma. The room has what you need and a nice assortment of beverages and snacks in the kitchen area. I will come back. Parma is magical.

Staff, and service were excellent. The location is great for the historic center of Parma with the cathedral and baptistry just outside the entrance. Our whole family and friends all enjoyed their stay very much.
The locations is perfect for touristic trip. Rooms are very comfortable, and very well equipped. Especially we enjoyed dryer as after long trip in Italy wanted to wash a lot of staff. Bed was extra comfortable.
Easy access hotel with free parking space nearby Parma central. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was available from 7 to 10 serving for example fresh fruits, coffee, some bread and sweet pies.
Nice and clean, spacious and fairly quiet too. Highly recommend. The walk to downtown Parma takes a little while but is certainly doable. A bus line runs by just in front of the property.
Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Petra was an excellent representative of the hotel! Excellent buffet breakfast. Good location near the center of Parma.
