Location is great, if you have your own means of transportation. There are plenty of parking spots and the premises is close to main road. Big plus, there is a nice big park to run or have a stroll.
Staff is friendly and eager to help. Rooms are clean, mattresses and pillows are off good quality. Breakfast is not of great variety, but it is of good quality and well prepared.

The Minerva is a gem of a hotel "due passi" from the rail station. This was our second stay (the first was three years ago), and we would recommend it to anyone, especially those arriving by train.

A Walker's Paradise Filled with Charming Surprises
Once a capital of the Western Roman Empire, Ravenna is a walker’s paradise and is home to several historical landmarks, magnificent mosaics, great fashion outlets, and charming streets lined with cafés, restaurants and bars.
Piazza del Popolo is considered the heart of Ravenna and was historically the civil and administrative centre of the city. It features the 15th-century Palazzetto Veneziano, the 17th-century Palazzo Comunale, and the 18th-century clock tower.
The most popular landmarks in the city are San Vitale, Mausoleo di Galla Placida, Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo and Dante Alighieri’s Tomb, whilst the Cervia Thermal Baths and Mirabilandia theme park are great options for a day trip.
After a day of discovery and sightseeing, be sure to head towards the coast for a revitalising swim or relaxing sun bathe at one of the several beaches scattered along the coastline of the Adriatic Sea.
Ravenna Station offers direct routes to Bologna and Rimini. Booking.com offers a range of accommodation options in Ravenna, Cervia, Milano Marittima and throughout the Emilia-Romagna Region.
Ravenna is a quiet and charming town. I enjoyed visiting the mosaics and sitting in a cafe frequented by many local people. I felt like I got a more authentic view of life in Italy than in Rome or Florence. It was a relaxed visit.

We were on a one night stay to take a cruise and had we known how charming, clean, safe and lovely Ravenna is, we’d have planned for a few more days there rather than Venice. The food was delicious and the wine 🍷

The old town where the many restaurants and shops reside is 5 or 10 minutes walk from the train station. The Maison 26 family owned hotel was outstanding. The old town is very walkable and beautiful. Cabs are scarce so book ahead if wanting transportation to cruise ship.

Ravenna was better than I expected.
Ravenna was better than I expected. We arrived by cruise ship and instead of rushing off to another city (Venice or Bologna) we chose to spend one night in Ravenna. Accomodations were near the train station and the historic churches and sites. Ravenna has beautiful mosaics in several locations and a well organized tour pass system that is easy to access.

Wonderful place! It was so very pretty and historic.
Wonderful place! It was so very pretty and historic. The city allows you to visit the museum of Alighieri Dante, one of the most important poet in Italy's culture. Also you can visit the Dante Alighieri's tomb. The city have a lot of bar to drink, seat and listen music, restaurants to eat the excellent and traditional italian food (for example piadina).

Ravenna is a beautiful place to visit.
Ravenna is a beautiful place to visit. It's easy to get around the town center and there are a lot of places to eat--across all price ranges.
So many beautiful mosaics. It's worth taking a tour for these. We did a guided tour with Silvia Giogoli at guidaravenna.com and it was worth the cost. She is so knowledgable about the history of the city and the mosaics in particular. Really gives you a better appreciation of the art.
If they block the guide's name and website, it was the guided walking tour offered via the booking site called Mosaic Tiles Guided Tour.
Perfect location just around the corner from the train station but within easy walking distance of Old Town and most of the UNESCO world heritage sites. It’s also great to use as a base from which to do day trips (Rimini, San Marino or simply the beach in Ravenna). Nice spacious room and modern bathroom. Very quiet and with the great blinds that totally darken the room so you can sleep in if you want. I definitely recommend this place.
The hotel was really adorable and the room was well-equipped with modern amenities yet still held the old world charm of the building. Michael and his receptionist couldn't have been more friendly! The location was fantastic and very close to a number of restaurants, shops, gelato, a laundromat, and public transportation. The breakfast was tasty as well. We'd happily stay at this little gem again any time while in Ravenna!
This is a great hotel with excellent location at a very reasonable price. Only 300 yards from the train station and close to all the sights. The room was a good size and very clean. Francesco is very helpful. The hotel has the added benefit of a first-class restaurant on site. It is always busy and the food is delicious. Hotel guests get 20% off. If I return to Ravenna this would be my first choice.
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Classensis in Ravenna with my wife, 5-month old daughter and two labradors. The room was lovely and the staff were INCREDIBLY hospitable, accommodating all of our needs. The food was delicious, great choice of pizzas, but other tasty options also available. The hotel had charming atmosphere that felt very Italian. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!
This was an exquisite hotel, full of character and charm. Our room was tastefully decorated and we had a large well-equipped bathroom. The two women working there were warm and friendly and made some great recommendations on good restaurants in Ravenna. We enjoyed a very good and varied breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 3 nights and can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.
Casa Masonic is a beautiful, seventeenth-century property with lovely, individual rooms and the best, most copious breakfast I have ever had at a European b&b. Lovely owner with wonderful staff! A taxi couldn’t be found so they drove me themselves to catch my bus. Very close to all of the incredible Ravenna historical sites. Don’t miss the opportunity to stay here!
The hotel is in the heart of the centro storico, which is perfect to walk anywhere you want in Ravenna. All the historical spots, restaurants and cafes are nearby.
The room was of a really good size, with a kitchen and dining table in the hallway and a separate bedroom. It was nice to have so much space.
Staff was super nice and helpful, big compliment!
Take me back! This was my favorite accommodation on my one-month trip to Italy. The rooms are incredibly spacious and clean! Valentino is super accommodating and helpful and will do anything to make your stay more enjoyable. There was also a wonderful breakfast with the best croissants! I will for sure be back! I miss it!
I wanted a place a little out of the center of Ravenna, and was so happy with this apartment. Nicest place I stayed in a month in Italy. Beautifully designed apartment, very roomy. The host was responsive, helpful and reasonable. Exceeded my expectations, and we stayed an extra day.
It's a very nice, very cosy hotel, with lovely personnel in the middle of Ravenna. You're able to park your car in the vicinity of the hotel for a very agreeable price (we paid €2,- per day), within the ZTL- zone, arranged by the owner. Our room looked like a little Palace!
Property is located in the center to all the highlights of Ravenna. Walkable , restaurants, shopping. Only stayed for a night for our 7 days cruise trip in Greece. We surely want to go back and definitely to book this hotel for our next trip planning.
- lenient policy to change reservation
- spacious room (junior suite)
- central location between Ravenna di Mare and Ravenna downtown (if you have your own transportation)
- separate toiletries
- good shower

I like the room setting. It is easy to fit in 3rd person with 2 bathrooms. Host is very nice and kind to help out when we need to book a taxi. I like to have breakfast on backyard and even forget it is in Italy!
Excellent location, quiet at night even being on Ravenna city center. Restaurants and bars are a short walk from the hotel. Staff is polite and ready to help, would definitely stay there again.
The Staff is super friendly and happy to help. We had some problems getting a taxi from bus station to the Hotel, we call them and they very kindly resolved it.
The breakfast was amazing.
The staff is very helpful and cooperative and kind. The breakfast includes a wide variety on Continental options but not eggs and bacon since we are in Italy and you may find pizza
breakfast was good. met expectations

VERY nicely decorated, large bedroom with compact kitchen, very clean
Breakfast was very good and personnel very helpful.
Location, very close to the main sites in Ravenna
The room was spacious and the bathroom was large and modern
Comfortable modern room in small hotel close to the Station. Lovely breakfast in bar alongside the hotel. Ravenna is a small city, so good base for exploring.
