Brindisi is a lovely small town, full of charm and beautiful views. You pretty much can cover everything in one day, leaving the remaining days for day trips to nearby locations. The only issue is that if you are not driving, you are not going to be able to fully experience all that this town has to offer. We personally took the train to Lecce, Gallipoli, Bari and Polignano a Mare. Food is excellent literally in EVERY PLACE. Totally recommend.

Brindisi is a small town in the region with an airport...

Brindisi is a small town in the region with an airport served by the low cost airlines. You can choose this place if you want a quiet get away where you can just chill. The town itself is a half day visit max, if you are into sight seeing. Having said that, since the town has an airport and a train station, this could be your hub from where you can visit the other interesting places of the region. the Train Italia's website and the ticket vending machine will give you the mode of transport (both bus and train) and timing if you punch in the destination. Bus services to other towns are mostly once in 30 or 60 mins. So start early and finish early. Lecce, Alborobello, Locorotondo are doable. If you want to visit other places, I would suggest start early. People are friendly here.

Brindisi centre is 13 minutes drive from the Airport. We enjoyed our short stay there before exploring Puglia. We decided to return to the City on our last day as we loved the restaurants along the port, particularly Betty’s

A relatively quiet port town, more popular with Italian tourists than foreigners. Great for an authentic Italian holiday experience- not too fancy but with a pretty promenade and a good choice of restaurants and shops. Good train connection with some attractions of the area, but not all of them (there are different railway companies in this area and some more distant journeys need good planning). Be sure to use the water tram to cross the harbour- it costs one bus ticket and it's very pleasant:)

Brindisi is nice place but I felt more a stop off place on the way to alternative locations. We travelled to Monopoli and Alberobella by train and both were amazing . Also took a train to Lecce which is nice too but we arrived when most shops/restaurants were closed for siesta so hard to really give a true picture. We were slightly disappointed with the food generally.. plenty of pizzerias but found it hard to get spaghetti bolognaise or Lasagna on any menu.

Wandering through Brindisi’s narrow streets filled with...

Wandering through Brindisi’s narrow streets filled with quaint houses and Baroque buildings is like stepping back in time. The town's stunning architecture is a blend of different influences, reflecting its rich cultural heritage. Visit the Cathedral of Brindisi, with its beautiful blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles, or admire the majestic Palazzo Granafei-Nervegna, a noble residence turned contemporary art museum. The Column of St. Lawrence is another architectural gem, standing tall since the Roman times. Brindisi’s location along the blue waters of the Adriatic Sea grants it access to breathtaking beaches and a picturesque coastline. We selected the Hemingway Beach.

Probably the best experience I've ever had with b&b. I stayed here for three nights. The host is super friendly and helpful. if you need any recommendations - Andrea is always here to help you with a choice of restaurant/beach/etc. The atmosphere in the apartment is relaxing. design is stylish. the terrace is amazing - I had to push myself to go out from there:)) Room was clean, with a bar, all necessary facilities are included. Room service is perfect. nothing to add here - I’m extremely happy that chose this apartment.

It has a very traditional vibe. For us it is definitely a nice and new kind of experience. I will also say whatever complaint you might have about the property itself, the host makes up for it a thousand times. He was extremely helpful and friendly, had recommendations for everything from beaches to restaurants, to how to get around. He also invited us for a glass of wine to his gift shop next to the property which was very nice. Also, it is in a very central location also, everything is in a max 7 minutes of walking.

Agrumento degli Angeli felt like home. We especially enjoyed the garden, the comfort and the prime location (near the train station and the city center). Fausto was incredibly kind and even gave us a lift to the airport. We appreciate that greatly! We'd love to visit again. ~Nick and Nina PS: For the animal lovers, there's a cat sanctuary just around the corner. Il Regno di Zio Ray or the Colonia Felina does an amazing job rescuing and taking care of cats and is well worth the visit.

The apartment was very clean and had such a welcoming and home-like environment to it. After staying in so many hotels it was nice to feel "at home" for a bit of our trip. Perfect location nearby every tourist attraction and great hospitality from Guiseppe who made sure we had all the knowledge of the area to make our Brindisi stay worthwhile as well as answering all our questions very easily and quickly. Will definitely be staying here again if I come back to Brindisi!

The room was en-suite and the double bed was very comfortable. The room was very quiet. I slept good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They let me check in early. Albergo is perfectly situated for a relaxing city break in Brindisi with loads of great restaurants and places of interest dotted along the Port and the old city a minute's walk away. The hotel is grand in every aspect with beautifully appointed suites and incredible views of the Port with Argonnes Castle guarding the entrance. Also, watch out for the super yachts, which come and go most days!

The B&B exceeded our expectations greatly. All the appliances are new, very clean, the staff super friendly and eager to help out to figure out transportation etc. The room was beautiful. Also the location was great, close by to the beach (5 minutes by bus, bus stop in front of the B&B) and to the city center, which is reachable with a lovely boat. Will definitely come back!!

The owner went out of her way to order us dinner and set up a table when it arrived. She was extremely polite and accommodating. We had a minor problem with our rental car and she offered to call the rental car company and explain the problem in Italian. We felt like we were visiting a family member and will definitely book again if our travel takes us to Brindisi.

Very spacious apartment which can comfortably host 4 people. Nicely decorated. Very central location, close to the train station as well as to the seaside. The hosts live just next door and were easy to reach. They provided us with a map of the city, an explanation of the main sights/areas in Brindisi, and the keys.
