Best Western Hotel Fiera Verona, hotel in Verona

Hotel Fiera is near Verona’s Congress Center, a short bus ride into town, and just 3 stops to Porta Nuova Railway Station. Here you will find a choice of rooms and free parking. WiFi is free.

The room was small but had everything we needed plus a kettle (the water had a lot of calcium. we washed it with a sponge but it just accumulated again). Had a mini fridge which was good for those days when you just want to fall in bed but need to eat. It was good for keeping a couple of sandwiches cool. Which we got from the lidl next door. The room was good. Clean. The sheets were clean. The cleaning staff were careful and seemed attentive. If you are renting a car and doing day trips it is a great location not too far from the highway. We only did this one day. For a family with kids and renting a car it is perfect or for a good night rest on your way somewhere else it is perfect and good value. Close to a supermarket (lidl) and lots of parking space. For seeing verona maybe not unless it's just a one day thing.

FAQs about hotels in Verona

A Shakespearean Fairytale

A darling of Shakespeare, beautiful Verona is the literary home of Romeo and Juliet. The medieval families of Montague and Capulet immortalized in the tragic play did actually exist and some buildings relating to the Montagues are still present.

Sorry to disappoint, but the place purporting to have been Juliet's house in Verona was not actually where she lived. However, it’s still worth suspending reality for a while and stepping out onto the balcony to see if Romeo turns up.

Another of the must-see Verona sights is the Arena, a largely intact Roman amphitheater which is now the spectacular setting for outdoor summer operas. Smaller Roman relics include the stone bridge that crosses the river by the Roman theater whose remains are partly beneath a house.

The city’s narrow streets house many cafes and restaurants which have cheaper fare than the touristy ones by the Arena, although admittedly the views are less impressive. Life in Verona is laid back and elegant, so expect to see some well-heeled Italians on a post-dinner passeggiata.

Verona Airport is a little out of town, so you’ll need to take a bus to get to your Verona hotel, apartment or B&B. Book with Booking.com for the best choice.

A city of lovers and it all makes sense as soon as we arrive there. The city is full of history and beautiful architecture. Most of all the food is fantastic and the people are so warm. BORESI SNC KIOSK BAR S.zeno is an outdoor and more laidback kind of bar that offers affordable prices. They also have a nice staffs that are all accommodating and friendly. Pizzeria Ristorante Rosa Blu has one of the most delicious pasta seafood and bolognese I have ever tried in my life. Although we have tried several restaurants in Verona but we keep going back to this place.

extremely clean everywhere! The room was bright and comfortable and well equipped. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel where you can catch the bus into Verona and the main reception explained clearly which bus to take and how to get back to the hotel. They even sell bus tickets which are extremely cheap. We stayed here three nights and really enjoyed seeing Verona and Lake Garda. There is plenty of parking and also underground parking to stop your car baking in the hot sun.

This was our best hotel on our road trip in Italy/Sicily. Everything was perfect: The reception spoke perfect English, was always helpful and available. The hotel was quiet and the room very comfortable, with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and rich. The proximity to Verona downtown is okay on foot, easy with an electric scooter. The street in front of the hotel has free parking and it seemed to be easy to get a parking spot (on a weekday).

There was a great choice of continental breakfast, freshly baked pastries, cereal, fresh fruit and it was the best coffee we had in Italy. The location was perfect, 5-10 minute walk from the train station and 2 minute walk to the main square in Verona. Highly recommend staying here.
