The location was very good: within walking distance of all tourist attractions and very close to many many restaurants and shopping
The best asset of this hotel are its employees. They do any and everything they can to accommodate the guests. They are truly exceptional. I wasn’t quite as pleased with the housekeeper, who gave me fewer towels and fewer shampoo and soap, as the trip went on, as if I needed less things each day. Other than that, the employees were terrific.
The breakfast were also very nice. They prepared beautifully set tables with pastries, homemade breads, fresh fruit, meat and cheese plate on every table for every guest, and then delivered yogurt, cappuccinos, juice, as you needed it in a very nice breakfast room.

great choices for breakfast. There was a staff person at the desk all the time, who could answer questions about how to get to places. There was free public parking juat around the corner from the hotel. We could easily get our bags to our room. Since we arrived at the end of the day, there were plenty of spaces, and it was safe!
Very big room. Camplus is apparently also a college dorm, which was fine for us. Lots of young people around.

Everything. We were greeted with a warm welcome. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were nice. The bathroom was modern and well equipped. The Breakfast Buffet was fabulous! The parking (by payment) was secure. We were not there long enough to make use of the small patio to the rear of the hotel. The Reception recommended a nearby restaurant for dinner where we had a fantastic meal.

Edgy and eclectic, Palermo is a symbol of all that Sicily stands for. From buzzing Vespas to the bustling Vucciria market, it simply brims with life.
Wonderful Palermo Cathedral glows radiantly in the Mediterranean sun. Nearby is the city’s last Sicilian Puppet Theater, and across the street is a palm-filled park housing Roman mosaics, though the best are in the archeological museum. At one end is the Norman Palace, a government building home to the fabulous Cappella Palatina, whose gold mosaics are absolutely breathtaking.
Equally magnificent are the gold mosaics lining the 12th-century Monreale Cathedral on the city’s outskirts. Wander the cloisters and note the varying columns and capitals – each pair is different.
Palermo also has fascinating churches: 2 of the oldest are 12th-century San Giovanni degli Eremeti and San Cataldo, each with red, Islamic-style domes. Gesú Church has an incredible Sicilian Baroque interior, while La Martorana’s frescoes are awe-inspiring. A street away is Quattro Canti, an intersection with a fountain in each corner.
Other attractions include the round Teatro Massimo, Mondello beach and Monte Pellegrino mountain overlooking the sea. You get fabulous views of this picnic spot as you fly into Palermo Airport before heading to your Booking.com accommodations.

A fun city with a rich history. There is plenty to see and do. Very good value for money. There are shops restaurant's and trips to suit everyone’s budget. We would highly recommend a city tour if time is limited. We met with other travellers that had done a very good walking tour.We traveled in May and were surprised at how busy it was.

Very interesting architecture, BUT the municipality really has to take better care of the amount of trash at the city, it an easy to solve problem that really subtracts to the first impression.
Other than this fault it was quite breath taking and had so much to offer, culturally, historically and simply vacationally. So much to do in such a small place.

History, culture, food, etc.
History, culture, food, etc. If you get a chance to stay in the city center, do it. It is a great way to experience daily life in Sicily. Every day you will discover something new at every corner. One thing I did notice is the amount of interest people have in churches. If just half the people that go in to take pictures were to attend one weekly what a different world we would live in.
Street markets and the street food is a must.
There is a bus service from the airport to the city center at a cost of 6 euros each way or 10 euros round trip. Prestige E Comande is the name of the bus company.

A wonderful & historic city, very walkable for pedestrians, particularly in the pedestrianised areas.
Numerous restaurants to choose from but we had some delicious meals at the Theatre Massimo Restaurant & other restaurants.
One thing we disliked on the very busy (non-pedestrian) streets was the traffic, very aggressive almost reckless driving & parking with constant use of horns & sirens but even that could not take away from beautiful Palermo. Some streets have serious litter problems.
It was great to be able to store our luggage at this property on the day we were leaving & the use of toilet.
This is a very special property & it has left us with a very positive image of Palermo.
It was probably the best apartment i 've ever stayed in Italy. Impeccably clean, with everything one may need for a short stay, and really beautifully decorated with antiques and Sicilian ceramics. Its tiny balcony let us have our morning coffee as if we were part of Sicily's every day life! The owners were friendly, polite and helpful. La Giara is centrally situated, near the bus/train station but still in the very centre of the city's historic heart and most sights.
Owner Graziella help coordinate meeting with ancestral family that still lived in Sicily/Palermo/Alia. She also insured we new how to get to lankmarks and cafes/street food. It was a great experience and she spoke good English.
The room needs a power outlet near the desk. I had to hijack the tv outlet. The desk lamp outloet did not work well. Almost every B&B I stay in has this issue.
Great experience and would recommend this B & B.
the staff was very nice and accommodating. the rooms were very clean and beautiful. the air cooling in the room was best I've seen in Italy. Palermo can get very hot and muggy. but the ac units in the rooms kept us cool.
the breakfast was very nice and the staff was super attentive to our needs. The location was perfect. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Also close to Teatro Massimo and Via Marqueda. I would definitely stay again.
The staff were amazing. They helped organize our taxis upon arrival and for day trips. Massimo and Alessio were very informative and gave tips of different places to visit throughout Palermo. They were extremely kind and welcoming! And the location was perfect !!! Close to the train station as well as in the city centre near all the action. The B&B also had breakfast every morning which was delicious and classic for Sicily.
Phenomenal staff, location, and breakfast. As soon as we stepped in the door, we were made to feel right at home in this lovingly curated, boutique hotel. We were provided with excellent dining and shopping recommendations, as well as ideal walking routes to tour the city. Breakfast was absolute perfection. The owner, Alessandro, has created a very special place for visitors in Palermo, and I hope to return soon.
This is a small boutique hotel with an excellent location near the most central attractions and shopping. The hotel was very clean. The professional front desk and team was always helpful and had a smile on their face. The bed was so comfortable! Breakfast was fresh to order, plentiful and very delicious!
We would not hesitate to stay again should our travels bring us back to Palermo! Grazie Millie
The hotel was well situated right opposite the beach and marina, there was also the beautiful botanical gardens around the corner. Palermo overall was a beautiful city with a lovely vibe and a great introduction to Sicily Ror the first time visitor. The staff were warm, professional and pleasant, offering a polite and efficient service...My daughter gave the buffet breakfast two thumbs up...
The location is as good as it gets near the center of the old city of Palermo. The building is modern, room was clean and with comfortable beds. Breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful: we took a transfer from the eastern part of Sicily and the driver was not familiar with the city of Palermo. Staff helped him live over the phone to drop us off at the door.
We only stayed one night, and arrived late and left very early for the airport. But it was a great place to stay, the room was cosy with quaint styling. Its only a 2 minute walk to the train and bus station which made it perfect for us. The bathroom was very good, one of the best showers I had in Sicily. We also appreciated that the building has an elevator.
Casa Ricasoli is a homely, beautiful flat located in one of the best neighbourhoods in Palermo. It looks absolutely beautiful, very artsy and has everything you need to have an amazing stay in Palermo. Marcello also provided a 5 star hotel breakfast for our stay, including homemade muffins! This will be your home away from home in Sicily.
Perfect location. Tiny little apartment. Close to all the famous things in Palermo. Easy to get there from the airport. The best area to stay in Palermo. The hosts (Jimmy) were very nice and friendly, they give us lot of useful advices. The apartment is clean, big enough and had everything what is needed.
The staff were extremely friendly and looked after us really well. The breakfast spread and the welcome treats were great. This is a quirky boutique bed and breakfast hotel. The location is ideal to explore Palermo on foot with tasty restaurants within walking distance.
It is just on the bank of the sea, quiet area but close to the town (20min by bus) , clean and comfortable appartment, nice hosts.
The beach is much cleaner than the rest of Palermo.
It was not a luxury hotel but we loved it.
Amazing place. The best place I stayed in my 8 days holidays in Sicily. The most comfortable bed and pillows I have had. A great breakfast in the terrace with a perfect view of the city
I really recommend this hotel
The location is great! Service is good, room is tastefully decorated. It is the best we have stayed in Sicily. And we feel like we have been pampered and so far the rest of the hotels are not as nice.
The hosts were friendly. Being from England not every in sicily speaks English but they always try their best and use Google translate ect. The bedroom was clean. Overall it was an okay stay.
