DislikedThe room was dirty and dusty. The carpet had several spots on it. The furniture was old. We couldn't lock the bathroom door and had no hot water to take a shower. We complained to two different receptionists about that, and they did not care at all. Breakfast was mediocre, some food had gone bad and the bread was full of mold.... Is it really a ****?

LikedThe location was great. Lots of nice restaurants in walking distance. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet with a wide variety of food.

DislikedWe expect older hotels in Rome but this is worn . Old carpets and fixtures. The room amenities were minimal (two small plastic cups, no kettle). The bed was hard and cheap. Not what we expect for a four star hotel. It doesn't earn that rating.
