The size of room is good, the beds are not too soft, it was nice sleep. But on the other hand the beds are also really small. You should not expect too much from this hotel. Although outside is really nice space. The breakfast included some pastry (it was good) and coffee. Ladies in the cafe are nice and very cheerful.

The Apulian capital Bari has been known for its port since Roman times. Nowadays there are 2 harbours: cruise ships and ferries to Greece and Croatia depart from the new port, while the old port shelters fishing vessels.
Between them is a seafront road bordering the real attraction – the old town. Narrow, cobbled streets lead under arches to hidden piazzas with pavement cafes. Many are on adjoining Piazza Mercantile and Piazza del Ferrarese, where the old Roman road is exposed.
The imposing 12th-century Norman-Swabian Castle guards the west of the historic centre, and the simple Cathedral of San Sabino is from the same period. Equally understated is the Basilica of St Nicholas, housing relics of the saint. Pope John Paul II once prayed there, which may have given rise to Bari Airport’s name: Karol Wojtyła Airport.
Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the meeting point of the old town and the Murat district, built under orders of Napoleon’s brother-in-law. Facing each other across this street are the colourful façades of the municipal office and Piccinni Theatre, though most prestigious is the Petruzzelli Theatre opera house.
Booking.com’s Bari accommodation includes luxury hotels by the Fiera del Levante, cheap city centre apartments, and B&Bs near the train station. For families, the slides and swimming pools of Bari Acquapark make a great day out.

The staff at the tourist info are very cordial and speak good English. Recommend to book a city tour to get to know Bari and it's traditions better. Visits to nearby towns may be easily planned beforehand using trains and buses. Not to miss Alberbello, Polignano a Mare, Grotte di Castellana, Matera and Lecce.

very interesting place to visit, especially BARI VECCHIA, if you are into theatres there are loads. Would recommend you rent a car as to visit close by villages, which are an absolute gem, like MONOPOLI, POLIGNANO A MARE, OSTUNI and if you are into zoos, visit the ZOO SAFARI and right after some spend some fun hours in the ZOO where there are also some roller coasters for some thrill seeking.

The coastline and Old Quarter were spectacular. Our favorite upscale restaurant recommended by a local friend was Giampaolo, Ia Francesco Lombardi 18, Bari. Another cafe we recommend is for the seaside location and long opening hours (7am-1am): Riviera, Lungomare Nazario Sauro 19, Bari

Bari is a small city with a spectacular old town, great food and friendly locals. The public transportation to and from airport is a bit unreliable but still good. I have never felt unsafe any time of the day. Public transportation is at reasonable prices and except for the rush hour, it is very convenient to use.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bari.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bari.
There were many interesting things to see in the city itself.
It was well connected to many other interesting places by public transport.
We particularly liked the old Bari and the walk along the waterfront.
There were lots of good eateries within easy walking distance.
Highlights for us included short train trips to matera (the sassi) and to alberobella (the trulli).

What I have liked the most in Bari has been Basilica San Nicola but also the warm, friendly and helpful people and Bari old traditional architecture .
I was very happy staying at B&B Sant'Anna , excellent location in the old town, quiet place ,nice and very clean room and the host very nice and helpful .I recommend the place for accommodation.
Very large and comfortable room and it was well appointed. The pool area was wonderful and the grounds were spacious and well manicured. Properly was very clean. Staff were very good. The best breakfast I have seen in my 12 years in Italy. More like an American style brunch. The location wasn’t bad I felt very safe in the surroundings area. Bari center and old town are a €10 taxi ride. We walked from old town to the hotel in about 20 minutes. Bari seems safe to me we walked all over the place lot of bars and fair priced restaurants.
Perfect location for a stay in Bari. Close to the old town and its attractions. Excellent communications from Michele before our arrival. He met us at the hotel and also helped us to sort out our parking spot. He also recommended a place for us to eat out at night. Room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Brilliant air conditioning which was most welcome during the heat wave. Breakfast was better than we had expected with a variety of choices and served by a member of staff. We would recommend Room56!
strategic location: quiet, safe, unique, real local residential area but still very close to city center (10min by bike ask tommaso about the bike)
facilities: not a five star hotel but instead with a five star host: ask tommaso for anything you need.
host: tommaso was the best host I’ve ever met, now he is my best friend in bari. he guided me through Polignano and matera and gave a lot of insider tips. Ask Tommaso, trust him and enjoy! cannot wait to be back!
Great hotel right at the sea within walking distance of the new & old town of Bari. The ladies at the reception were really nice, we could even check in early AND got an upgrade on the top floor with a sea view - thank you again for this, it was a perfect start of our vacation. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean, aircon was working perfectly. Breakfast on the terrace was great and there was a big choice including fresh fruit!
We stayed at Suite Torre Arcobasso in late May, a family of four renting both apartments. This is an amazing historic building, with exceptional features, very comfortable and nicely furnished apartments at the best location in Bari. Can only recommend! Alesandro was simply a great host, met us in person despite we arrived late in the evening and went out of his way to answer all of our questions and make our stay perfect.
Great location in the old town, close to the center. If you wanna spend more time on the beach then it’s a bit far, but you can rent a scooter or take a bus. The room was lovely and comfortable. Air conditioning is so important in Bari and it worked well. Also Antonio always communicated with us super fast and was very welcoming. We really recommend this place! And we even had a balcony.
The location of this property is in a weird part of Bari. Its surrounded by apartment buildings, graffiti, and didn't feel entirely safe outside the hotel property. The hotel itself is decent, clean, nothing fancy; but big rooms, a pool and the onsite restaurant has good food. This is not the scenic part of Bari, but a good hotel to crash at if you want easy access to the airport.
Thanks for the hospitality of Agata, Nico and Marco. I am much appreciated that Nico came to the B and B to open the door for me on the first evening. Agata said I was the first one that couldn’t open the front door. In fact I turned the key to the wrong side.
Also thanks for the breakfast that Agata provided. It’s like a hotel breakfast, her danish and croissant are the best.
The location Is fab for the train station as well as old town.
The staff were so friendly. Just lovely.
There are a number of good eats around too which are not too expensive. Bari doesn't really seem that expensive.
There's Spar supermarket on the hotel side.of the station and LIDL on the opposite side of the station if required.
The hotel was a short 10 minute walk to the Old Town. It was close to shops, restaurants, bars etc. The hosts were very friendly, easily accessible on WhatsApp, offering suggestions on where to eat. The room was spacious, had a small kitchenette and all the necessary facilities required for a comfortable 3 night visit in Bari.
Vincenzo owns the B&B and does absolutely everything himself. If there is anything you need, ask for it and he will do his best to supply it. Vin e Va is in a great location if you want to visit the old city of Bari. It has also been beautifully renovated from essentially a ruin (ask about this, it's fascinating).
The price-value range is really good. Good location 15minutes walk from Bari Centrale, the central station. The old town part is in 15-20 minutes walk. The Hotel is clean and the staff is really nice. They cleaned the rooms every day and give fresh towels.
Hotel has all the amenities of a true hotel… Attentive staff (24hours) clean comfortable and located at proximity to all the sights of Bari. We had to check out early and they provided us with a breakfast box to take with us. Excellent
Great location, 1 min walk from Bari Train Station and about 15/20 to the old town and main area in Bari. Good to stay at if you’ll be getting train/bus to surrounding areas. Spacious room. Nice hotel gym and breakfast, friendly staff.
I swear the god this is the best host ever! Alessandro is really helpful and friendly, it’s def my honor to stay in Alessandro’s such cozy and tidy place:)) I am really have a wonderful stay in Bari! Gonna visit here again:)
Everything was good! The hotel is very near to the airport, near to the town of Bari and easy access to the highway! The breakfast is in a beautiful balcony with nice view in the sea! The personeel is good also!
Best place near Bari airport, walking distance from train station, with awesome, helpful staff, comfy rooms, breakfast (even if you have an early AM flight!), supportive staff.
