Mini Hotel

LikedGreat location in the old town of Genoa. Staff communicated with me before my arrival providing instructions on finding the place. Staff was very helpful as I changed rooms as I did not want a room without an attached bathroom. They also recommended a local restaurant frequented by locals. There was an elevator.

Dislikedhotel is undergoing renovation so my room needed painting. Also I could not get the door to terrace to stay closed so I pushed a table in front of it. This was the reason for a lower score.

LikedGreat location and clean.

DislikedVery noisy. Be aware, the double bed is two single beds pushed together, very uncomfortable if you are the cuddly type… They say on the website that they have parking, but it’s really just an agreement with a parking facility nearby where you can get a 24 euro/day deal, which cannot be pro-rated.

LikedThe location was very nice, right in the middle of the old town with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was large and furnished decently.

DislikedThe hotel was in the middle of construction, so it was quite noisy and dusty and corridors were partially blocked. Room was quite cold and dark.

LikedThe hotel is located in a very central area with plenty restaurants, shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, bus stops, metro, train and everything that you could possibly think about that you my need. It's very clean and the shower is just great. The staff was welcoming and super friendly for the duration of my stay. The hotel is close to Piazza Principe which is a great station for day trips to Cinque Terre and Portofino, many other destinations as well like Milan, Rome etc but I was on a short trip to visit Cinque Terre and Portofino. The bed was super comfortable as well.

LikedThe location is good, near the port.

DislikedThe building is in a bad shape. Ongoing constructions with paining equipment in the corridor. Cleanliness absolutely not respected. The room is poorly maintained, absolutely doesn’t look like on the photos. It’s been noisy due to a family living above the hotel in the building. Staff does not communicate with each other, one wanted to chase us for not having paid the tourist tax, which we did to another colleague several hours before.
