River Palace Hotel

LikedThis hotel is well situated for travel to all the main sights in Rome. It is close to a metro but is also within walking distance of many central sights. It is comfortable & clean with excellent customer service. The staff are very helpful with information about sightseeing & restaurants. One member of staff, in particular (I was later told his name was Georgio) was extremely kind & patient with travel advice. We didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that. Great yellow marble bathroom & nice fluffy dressing gowns.

DislikedNothing really! For perfection I'd like a bigger fridge & a kettle!!

LikedLocation was ideal. Breakfast was very good and was served in a nice large room. The staff was very helpful with various questions and requests, one being a missing piece of luggage which they helped with.

LikedVery comfortable hotel with a luxurious lounge and bar. A great place to meet with friends. Easy walking distance to the National Art Gallery. Etruscan Museum, restaurants and the Via Del Corso shopping precinct.

LikedThe breakfast was very good. Nice selection such as eggs, bacon, cereal and yogurts. Cappuccino coffee and espressos available if you ask at breakfast. Location was good. Nice bar/restaurant goody’s next door. Room was clean.

DislikedThe room was tiny. We have stayed in small rooms before but this was very very small. The bathroom was so small you couldn’t even get dressed in it. We staying in the Economy Double. Bit of noise as our room was next to the elevator. Could also hear people’s alarms going off in the next room in the morning. But was quiet when going to sleep.
