* Location: ibis Milano Centro is in-between the city center and Milano Centrale train station, about 400m to Metro M3-line Repubblica station and about 650m to Metro M1-line Porta Venezia station. Quite convenient for both getting into the city and also for day trips via trains. There is a small supermarket in the same block. Pavé café, famous for its Panettone, is very close by.
* Overall: A solid ibis experience. The price-performance ratio is good; any closer to the city center, and hotel prices start to skyrocket.

The hotel is in a very convenient location within 5minutes walking distance of subway and about 100 meters from the bus station. It is very close to Duomo, and you can even choose to walk from the hotel - it is not that far. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we found the rooms to be very clean. We were upgraded to a large room, which were more than enough for two people travelling for a couple of days so we were really happy! We travel a lot - and we would definitely stay in this hotel again :)
Just 984 feet from Lima Metro Station and a few steps from the popular shops of Milan's Corso Buenos Aires, Starhotels Ritz is also a 10-minute walk from Milano Centrale Train Station.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during my trip to Italy, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect, the cleanliness was top-notch, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
However, what truly stood out during my stay was the exceptional service provided by Piero in reception. From the moment I checked in, Piero went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. His attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine care for the guests truly set him apart.
Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions, assisting with reservations, or simply offering a friendly smile and welcoming demeanor, Piero's dedication to customer satisfaction was evident in every interaction.
I am truly grateful for Piero's assistance during my time at the hotel. His exemplary service made my stay all the more memorable, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, thanks in large part to Piero's outstanding contributions.

Milan is always a surprising city. You can find everything. Elegant shops. Amazing restaurants. Beautiful people. In the city center you can breathe the smell of a european city. It's also a good place where you can invest your money. The real estate market is really good.

Whilst Milan was not as beautiful as Florence or Rome or Venice it has beautiful church interiors! Its Art Galleries are excellent if you are an art enthusiast. Of course for fashion enthusiasts those streets of Montenapoleone and around that vicinity is most exciting. A restaurant we particularly enjoyed was Slow Sud - check it out! Plus Vino e Pasta! But Milan is not the most charming place in Italy that’s for sure!

The city has a lot to see and enjoy.
The city has a lot to see and enjoy. The Museums (Modern Art, Science and Technology and Natural History) are very good. But there was much more to do if there was time. It has an excellent transport network and tickets that work as passes for one day or more. Trains leave from Milan to many parts of Italy on a regular basis. It could be a great base for multiple trips. I just thought that if you don't stay in an apartment and have to eat all your meals outside, it's really expensive. In addition to the fees that are not even specified in the locations, the price-quality ratio is not the best. To eat really well, it's stupidly expensive.

Very nice historical city, quite crowded, though.
Very nice historical city, quite crowded, though. We liked Duomo (online booking recommended), Castello Sforzeco is very nice and beautifully lit at night (we spent almost an hour taking pictures there). Milano Centrale train station is a monumental structure inside.
Negatives. Quite expensive even for Italy. Public transportation system (ATM) is a parody, unreliable in every regard.

A wonderful city, combining remarkable ancient history,...
A wonderful city, combining remarkable ancient history, culture, architecture and modern one, some times quite elitist in modern art, fashion, construction Every one has a different opinion and preferences and favorite places. Mine were and are The Duomo, La Scala, Santa Maria la Gracie, the area of BRERA with the pubs and the ancient appearance and........The San SIRO Stadium!
On my next visit I'll stay for more days, go to the the same places but explore new ones, visit more restaurants, by the way, milan cuisine is noticeable! I can't get hold of it!
The infrastructure is very good in Milan, the transport is perfect organized, but avoid peak hours! The same is for the crowds of tourists
in popular places, so just charge yourself with positive patience and there are funny moments in them.

Lovely city, much more sedate than Rome.
Lovely city, much more sedate than Rome. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. The Duomo and The Last Supper do not disappoint. I recommend booking a tour for the Duomo so you may go to the rooftop and avoid lines. The tours are not pricey. Reservations for The Last Supper are required. Don't forget to walk through the Santa Maria della Gracie. Castello Sforza is huge - set aside at least a couple of hours. We were there for four nights and I am eager to go back.
The hotel was very well connected with the Milano Linate airport and the city centre. It took us only 10 min by bus to get to the bus stop located just a few minutes away from the hotel. Staff members were extremely kind, hospitable and helpful. They welcomed us with a delicious cup of coffee, recommended great restaurants and breakfast places, and lent us an umbrella when it rained outside. They definitely exceeded our expectations! We very much recommend this hotel and we'll probably come back one day when we plan another trip to Milan!
Location in the middle of Milan, only 10 min from the Metro and then 10 minutes later you're in the city centre! Appartment is nice, cosy and clean. You can make your own breakfast or go out eating nearby or in the centre. This place is perfect for a city-trip. Host is very friendly and helpful, they are trying to do their very best to help you with what you need. Host also speaks very good english. Parking is great, in a parking box, it felt very safe! Bed are very good, they harder than in hotels but they were perfect for us.
The Lancaster Hotel is a beautiful hotel located 20 minutes walk from the city centre of Milan. The staff were very helpful and polite, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was really nice. The owner Mr. Filippo told us about the history of the hotel which dates back to the beginning of the 1900s, this makes you appreciate this beautiful building even more. We had a very pleasant stay at the Lancaster Hotel and I would recommend it for sure and we would definitely stay again.
beautiful place to stay when you are in Milan. Close to the city centre and in the middle of night life - absolutely in the heart of Naviglio Grande. You get out of the hotel and you walk by the canal and just choose which one bar you will drink in, but when you come back into the hotel, you come to one cosy, historic and calm place with comfort rooms, delicious breakfast and super kind and helpfull staff. i hope we will come back
Luigi is the perfect host and representation of what is beautiful about Italy. He did everything to make our stay a special one and for this we are extremely grateful! The apartment was cozy and in a great spot to go out and explore Milan. And listen to his recommendations especially about food. We had one of the best meals in Italy at a restaurant he recommended. We hope to see Luigi again in the future!!
I stayed at INTOMILAN Galleria Duomo I Boutique & Design Aparthotel for a night, really enjoyed its location in the city centre where top attractions is within walking distance nearby: Duomo di Milano, Cathedral Square Palazzo Reale di Milano, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and much more restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, grocery stores, public transportation. The staff was very helpful, and the room nice.
The hotel is located very close (few minutes walk) to the central railway station and provides an ideal location for those arriving or departing Milan by rail or plane (Malpensa). Similarly, it is only 30 minutes walk from the city centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A contemporary property. The standard of the room was high (well above average compared to similar priced properties).
Loved our stay here, the hotel is really modern, spacious and clean. All the amenities you'd need are available and the staff are very attentive. There are heaps of restaurants downstairs or within walking distance. Best of all, the central train station is just across the road so you can get anywhere in Milan, or even Italy, with ease. Would definitely stay here again.
we needed a simple place to stay a night in Milan prior to flying out of Italy. it was clean and brand new. The staff was so kind and friendly. We had a long drive in from South Tyrol and while we were communicative about it we were 40 minutes late to meet up for our key. they were gracious the entire time. Lots of restaurants and shopping witching walking distance.
We loved our stay at Porta Garibaldi. My partner and I agree that it was our favourite place we stayed at during our 3 week trip to Italy. It was comfortable, cosy and had great amenities. The neighbourhood was clean and safe. Very convenient location, easy to get to the city centre and other tourist attractions. Would happily stay again.
the staff were friendly and gracious helped us book restaurant reservation too. Breakfast was the best of all the hotels we stayed at in Italy. Good spot for the money in Milano, convenient (walkable) to both Piazza Duomo and Navigli, the canal/waterfront hotspot with thousands of waterside restaurants and patios and a lot of people!
Totally impressed with Hotel Teco. The location was perfect, very close to the Milan city centre and the public transport. The rooms were very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. We especially loved the fresh fruits from the breakfast. Would definitely stay again during our next visit to Milan.
The aparthotel is located in a safe residencial area with easy and quick access to Milano Centrale and to the city centre. The apartment was well equipped. There is a large supermarket (Esselunga) nearby, 4 minutes walk. The aparthotel is also very close to a metro station.
Location is close to the Milano central station, very convinient. Staf was very polite and helpful. a lot of restaurants and cafes are around the hotel. Easy to find a place for the dinner. Breakfast is good enough for Italy. Much more than coffee and croissant :)
Clean room, cosy and warm. Close enough to city centre (15-20 minutes by public transport).
The lift is tiny though, so be aware if you're travelling with many luggages (as every lift in old buildings in Italy).
Best hotel breakfasts we have had in italy. The suites were bright modern and super comfortable. A really good location close to the Navigli and a short tram ride to the centre of Milan and the Duomo
Milan Suite Hotel provided all the things you need for travel, strongly recommend all of you. Less than 5min walking distance to bus stop that can send you to city centre
Went unexpectedly due to injury to my back
Staff and hotel could not have been more accommodating
Highly recommend
