LikedStaff - outstanding Breakfast - outstanding Room - comfortable, but see below.
DislikedThe room was small, and certainly not worth €300+ per night. The only window was to an inner well. The walls were thin. We heard noises from both the hallway and the adjacent rooms. The bathroom was poorly designed. There was no shelf in the shower for soap. The towel rack could not be reached from the shower.

LikedBeautiful room, central location. The buffet breakfast with views to the Duomo was a perfect setting for a 50th birthday. Staff were attentive and it was very clean and comfortable.
DislikedUnfortunately it was noisy with street traffic, so if we stayed again we’d need ear plugs.

DislikedFront desk made a double charge on my credit card and were unable to reverse the charge right away and I was without those funds for my trip .

LikedLocation. The Front Desk Staff! The property is beautiful! The rooms are gorgeous! The historic photos of Florence and the WW2 period were amazing.
DislikedNew mattress needed. A/C hard to sustain at night for sleeping. Mosquitoes came in as well.
