B&B Santa Croce

LikedThe breakfast was perfect and my family always looked forward to it. There is a variety of different items in the breakfast which we could choose from. The facility staff are courteous and helpful. They were accomdating to what time we wanted breakfast and gave this on time, everyday. Our room beds were made daily, coffee cups replaced, bathroom cleaned. New towels replaced. Our room overlooked the balcony but unfortunately the weather did not permit us to use it. The hotel location was excellent as we were 15 min walk away from Termini and other major sightseeing locations.

DislikedThe room was within a shared apartment. On the first night, we were kept awake by incredibly noisy and loud neighbours who were awake at least till 4.30am. This continued for 3 days and I ended up becoming ill from lack of sleep. It did ruin my whole mentality and outlook of a holiday which I was most looking forward to it. The room did not look like what we had originally booked as that was because of extra single beds which made the room incredibly tight. Will not recommend this for a family room. The bathroom was separate and much in need of TLC. It had no shower or shampoo provided so we had to buy our own.

LikedIt is a very good place with a wonderful location close to the metro station. The lady was very helpful and smiled, the breakfast was wonderful and served in our room every day.

DislikedThe only thing which is not very convenient is that the bathroom is outside the room across the corridor but it wasn't such a problem.

LikedCozy room with attached bathroom, very clean. Breakfast wheeled in at 0730 by a lady, with hard boiled eggs, cereal, and orange juice, though the warm milk, which is fine for coffee, was not suitable for the cereal.

LikedExtraordinary delicious and full breakfast, very friendly and nice owner and ladies serving, possibility of leaving the luggage for free, very close to subway, walking distance from a number of attractions, Colloseum included. There is an independent heating and cooling by air conditioning. Walking distance from Termini and no need to take taxi or subway after leaving the shuttle from the airport. Nice local cafe at the street corner, with real Italian espresso serving at the counter.

DislikedThe street is noisy and old windows do not stop this noise. But there are other advantages, that minimise this little problem. Also bathrooms require some renovation and better cleaning.

LikedIt was a great stay at Santa Croce. The breakfast was really good each morning. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Room and bathroom was very clean. They even left breakfast stuffs for us in the room since we had an early early flight. So nice of them!

DislikedDetached bathroom wasn't the most convenient but they have us our own, no sharing, which was nice.
