Discover the gastronomic soul of Liguria with an authentic masterclass in our family workshop, BioTigullio5Terre, in the heart of Genoa's historic old town, at Via di Ravecca 51r, a stone's throw from the Casa di Colombo. You will learn how to prepare real Genoese pesto with a Carrara marble mortar and wooden pestle, following the local tradition. Each participant will create their own pesto, using fresh and authentic ingredients: PDO basil, Parmesan cheese, pecorino cheese, pine nuts, garlic, and extra-virgin olive oil. At the end of the lesson, we will enjoy a plate of trofie with pesto together, made with your recipe, and we will toast with a glass of one or two local wines: Vermentino, Pigato or Ciliegiolo del Tigullio. To conclude, you will receive a complimentary 90-gram jar of long-life Pesto Genovese to take home. Our experience is led by a Ligurian family deeply connected to the pesto tradition. Our instructors include Gaia, one of the youngest finalists at the World Pesto al Mortaio Championship in Genoa (2026), an international competition that recognizes the best practitioners of the Genoese tradition. During the masterclass, we will share not only a recipe, but a true culture made up of gestures, scents, and authentic stories of the territory.
