The elegant fifteenth-century building, in late Gothic style, has a decorated ogival arch above the entrance and large windows framed in terracotta. Inside, the courtyard is embellished by a small portico with two spans, supported by a single pillar in the corner. The building, located near the historical mercantile wharf on the river Ticino, belonged to the Eustachi family, who in the thirteenth century were already part of the corporation of fishermen of the city and two centuries later, having accumulated wealth, held prestigious military positions, leading the Visconti fleet.
