DislikedMy stay at this hotel was an absolute nightmare. Here are just a few of the issues I encountered: 1) No Water Supply: Almost no water at night and in the morning. Last night, there was no water at all! How can a hotel operate like this? 2) Noisy Environment: Opening the window meant being bombarded with unbearable noise. Forget about getting any rest. 3) Air Conditioning Problems: The air conditioning was turned off randomly by the reception. It's unacceptable and made the room extremely uncomfortable. 4) Lack of Basic Amenities: There wasn't even a garbage bin in the room. Basic amenities should be a given. Overall, this hotel failed to meet even the most basic standards. I will never stay here again and strongly advise others to avoid it.

LikedThe staff was very nice and the room, bed and bathroom were all clean and neat. It is very centrally located and no more than a 20 minute walk to all of the main attractions in Florence.

DislikedAlthough the hotel, which is a floor of an apartment building filled with other similar hotels, is very centrally located (3 min walk from the train station), it is on what i would describe as the busiest street corner in Florence. If you don't care about sleeping then you might fight the Hotel Berna perfect for your short stay in Florence, but between the foot traffic, garbage trucks, delivery trucks and street cleaners, we had about 3 hours of quiet per night. if the hotel were located on a quiet street I would not hesitate to stay there again.
