Hotel Palazzo dal Borgo

LikedThe room and bathroom was the biggest we had during our trip to Italy. We enjoyed the breakfast and the staff was friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

DislikedI think the room could have used more outlets, we only had 1 in our room.

LikedThe location of the hotel is perfect, more or less around the corner of the train station. I particularly liked the breakfast, it was possible to have it also in their little jasmine garden. The staff is very nice and friendly, always prepared to help.

LikedAmazing hotel in every way. Gorgeous courtyard garden where breakfast was served in the morning and lovely bar area in the evening to relax after a days sightseeing.Staff were very helpful on every level.

LikedI have somewhat mixed feelings about our stay here. To begin with, the hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Florence and is itself in a beautiful, old palace. The staff is very welcoming, accommodating and kind, ready to assist when needed. Breakfast is rich and can be enjoyed in a patio. But the whole place seems a bit dated (see below).

DislikedOur room was spacious and was decorated in a traditional, Italian art-deco style. However, the furniture is rather old (and old-looking) and I have the feeling that it at times makes it difficult to keep the place perfectly clean (there is quite some dust, but these seems symptomatic for many Italian old "palaces").
