Hotel Leon D'oro

LikedHotel just 10mins from center and 10min from main station. Very freindly and helpful staff and good breakfast.

DislikedParking costs 18 Euro per day. This was a bit unexpected.

LikedReally stunning hotel. Good location. Around 5 min walk from station and around 10-20 min walk into the centre. Food was lovely, and rooms were clean and lovely

LikedVery big and clean room, comfortable bed. Big bathroom with double sink and bidet. Tons of TV channels, but not proper TV. Wide variety of pastries for breakfast, but unfortunately no proper food selection.

DislikedThe surrounding area doesn't look too well and safe if you're walking. The soundproofing is terrible, at least for the rooms from the front size of the hotel as they are facing a high traffic road (day & night), so it's very noisy all the time. Old style furniture with a kind of useless "cockpit" built into the bedside table. The TV is extremely small (it has only 22" inches) relative to the room size. There is only one accessible power outlet in the room and none near the bed. The breakfast choices are quite limited for a 4* hotel: no vegetables except very few cherry tomatoes, just 2 types of cheese, eggs which in one morning couldn't be eaten because they smelled like rotten eggs. They replaced them after we complained, but didn't have the courage to try again.

LikedClassy, large lounge/bar area, friendly and helpful staff, nice restaurant. Fantastic shower! Convenient to train station

DislikedHas to keep getting the keycard rekeyed each day. No kettle in room (but was able to get boiling water from bar) Surrounding area a bit ordinary and 29 min walk to town centre.
