LikedThe hotel is very close to the train station so you don't have to lug your baggage very far. The room was basic, but clean and big - when you go to Florence you don't really want to hang out in your room anyway. All sites are within walking distance. The breakfast has all the staples of European breakfast buffets - different kinds of coffee drinks, juice, pastry, cereal, yogurt, cheeses, etc. The staff is extremely friendly and speaks English.

DislikedHotel rooms in Florence are ridiculously expensive - you have to adjust value for price expectations.
