Dating back to the eleventh century, the church has a regular facade, characterized by a horizontal cornice surmounted by a small bell tower. There are two portals: the one on the right is aligned with the main altar and is decorated with an archway; the one on the left has an architrave and is surmounted by a panel in polychrome relief depicting the Madonna and Child.
Above each portal there are two windows: rectangular one on the right, a pointed one on the left.
The church has two aisles. Unfortunately the high altar in Baroque style, having been destroyed, has been shifted to a lower value.
The church is now the headquarters of the Brotherhood of St. Luke.
